Ordering Online

Ordering from Cakes by Shannon is simple and convenient. Browse our menu, select your favorite desserts, and place your order securely online.

How to Order

Browse the Shop: Explore available cakes, pound cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes, brownies, dessert bars, and other treats.
Choose Your Product: Select your desired flavor, size, quantity, and available options.
Add to Cart & Checkout: Complete your order securely through our online checkout.
Order Confirmation: Once your order and payment have been received, you will receive an order confirmation with the details of your purchase.

Custom Cakes

For custom cakes, please use our Custom Cake Inquiry/Design option to tell us about your celebration, preferred flavors, size, theme, and design ideas. Custom cake requests must be reviewed and confirmed before an order is considered booked. A custom cake is not reserved until the required payment or deposit has been received and the order has been officially confirmed.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available for eligible orders in the Miami, Florida area.

Select Local Pickup during checkout when the option is available.
After your order has been confirmed, you will receive your pickup instructions.
Your exact pickup address will be provided privately after your order is confirmed and payment has been received.
Pickup instructions will include the available pickup date/time and any information you need to collect your order.
Please arrive during your designated pickup window so your order can be ready for you.

Pickup Address Privacy

For the safety and privacy of our customers and our business, the pickup address is not provided before an order is confirmed. Please do not arrive at or attempt to locate the pickup location without receiving official pickup instructions from Cakes by Shannon.

Pickup Responsibility

Once your order has been picked up, Cakes by Shannon is no longer responsible for the handling, transportation, or storage of the order. We recommend transporting your desserts on a flat, stable surface and keeping them in an appropriate temperature-controlled environment until they are ready to be enjoyed.

Local Delivery

Cakes by Shannon offers local delivery for eligible orders within our designated Miami, Florida service area. Delivery is available for select cakes, desserts, and custom orders. Delivery availability and fees are based on the order size, delivery location, date, and distance from our pickup/bakery location.

Delivery Fees

Local delivery fees are calculated based on the customer’s delivery address and the distance from our pickup/bakery location. The applicable delivery fee will be provided during checkout or before a custom order is finalized. Delivery fees are separate from the cost of the products ordered.

Scheduling Your Delivery

Delivery dates and time windows must be arranged in advance.
Delivery is not guaranteed until the order and delivery details have been confirmed.
Custom cake deliveries may require additional scheduling to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
We recommend placing orders as early as possible for birthdays, weddings, celebrations, and other important events.

Delivery Address

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order. Cakes by Shannon is not responsible for delays or failed delivery attempts resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address provided by the customer. If your delivery address changes after your order has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible. Additional delivery fees may apply if the new address requires additional travel.

Delivery Window

Customers will receive an estimated delivery window for their order. Because local deliveries can be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control, exact delivery times cannot always be guaranteed. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your order within the agreed-upon delivery window.

Customer Availability

Someone must be available at the delivery location to receive the order unless prior arrangements have been made. For cakes and other delicate desserts, we strongly recommend that someone be available to immediately receive and properly store the order. If no one is available at the time of delivery, additional delivery charges may apply for a second delivery attempt.

Safe Delivery

Cakes by Shannon takes great care when transporting your order. However, once the order has been delivered to the customer or designated recipient, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer. Please handle cakes and desserts carefully after delivery and follow any care or storage instructions provided with your order.

Delivery Area

Local delivery is currently available within our designated Miami-area service zone. If your address falls outside our standard delivery area, please contact us to determine whether delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Delivery for Custom Cakes

For custom cakes, delivery details will be confirmed as part of the order process. Because custom cakes often require careful transportation and special handling, delivery should be scheduled in advance whenever possible.

Nationwide Shipping

Shipping Days

Orders ship Monday through Wednesday.
Orders are assigned to the next available shipping day based on receipt time and our preparation schedule.
Shipping early in the week helps reduce the risk of weekend transit delays.

Processing Time

Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before your order ships.
Every item is freshly prepared, packaged, and quality-checked before it leaves our kitchen.
Tracking information is sent once your order has shipped.

We currently offer shipping for:

Pound Cakes
Brownies
Dessert Bars

Cheesecakes are available for local pickup and local delivery only, and are not available for shipping.

All shipped orders are packaged to support freshness and protect items in transit.

Shipping Regions

We currently ship within the continental United States — the 48 contiguous states plus Washington, D.C.
We are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international addresses at this time.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your order.
Brownies & Dessert Bars: rates range from $10 to $25, increasing in weight-based tiers.
Pound Cakes: rates start at $23 and increase with the total weight of your order.

If your order includes more than one product type (for example, brownies and a pound cake), each is calculated separately and combined into your total shipping cost.

Shipping Method & Delivery Estimate

Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or another appropriate shipping service.
Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days after your order ships, in addition to the 1–2 business day processing time above.
Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier.
Overnight shipping is not available.

Shipping Address

Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase.
Cakes by Shannon is not responsible for orders affected by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
If you notice an error, please contact us as soon as possible before your order ships.

Weather & Carrier Delays

Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Weather, holidays, carrier delays, and other events outside our control may affect delivery timing.
Shipping dates may be adjusted if severe weather could affect the quality or safe delivery of your order.
